We secured permission from the Government of Uttar Pradesh to bring USA Doctors and volunteers to every government orphan shelter in Uttar Pradesh.

City 1: Hyderabad-Partnered with Harvard Medical School Collaborator Dr. Jeyaraj Pandian of Christian Medical College of Ludhiana, a top 15 school, to lay down Doctor visitation plan to 300 villages where they have clinics and 25 stroke research centers planned. Discussed 42 acre pharma/venture capital complex. Partnered with Dietician to begin producing lifesaving village posters. Partnered with Indian Idol TV show Coordinator to prepare fund raising concerts for village medical care.
City 2: Rebbanapally-Empowered 1000+ villagers on Diwali day in India's top 3 business friendly state: Telangana. Secured TV station and newspaper interviews.
City 3: Coimbatore-Partnered with retired CEO Harry Gomes to plan how to enhance medical care and computer equipment for his 400+ orphans. Secured invitation to visit Orissa, home of a huge orphan crisis. Secured land flip business contact to potentially help fund village medical care.
City 4: Kolkata-Met with Mother Teresa Orphanage coordinator to share RadioLOVEIndia.com music stream for orphans and begin planning GIANT Mother Teresa Tribute Concert in Kolkata. Partnered with CEO of Song of Soul to begin planning this event.
City 5/6/7: Chandigarh/Ludhiana/Amritsar-Secured RadioLOVEIndia.com Tour partners to drive fundraising and village medical care.
City 8: Delhi-Secured Delhi slum outreach contacts with direct links to Prime Minister Modi's Office via their social researcher LMSW child welfare champion Aparna Saxena CEO of Guiding Souls. Connected with late President APJ Abdul Kalam's CEO Mentee to advance village medical care and music concerts.
City 9: Lucknow-Empowered 200 former child labor victims now rescued with a small business lesson and first ever pizza party that they will NEVER forget. Secured newspaper coverage. Secured invitation from Government official Anshumali Sharma to bring volunteers and Doctors to every government shelter in Uttapradesh.
City 10: Bangalore-Connected with Akshaya Patra CEO to begin meal programs in villages we visited. Akshaya Patra feeds 1.5 million kids hot lunch daily in India.

Dr. Abraham Thomas M.D. is a Neurologist at #1 ranked Houston Methodist Hospital. He served as Deputy Chief of his Neurology department. He also serves as Associate Director of the Neurology Residency Program. A dedicated Father and Husband of a professional Malyali singer, he is a relative of Kerala’s Chief Minister and Bollywood singing legend Usha Uthup. Dr. Thomas is relentless in his efforts to alleviate poverty and in mobilizing medical aid to India’s villagers. He has successfully engineered state coverage of the miracle drug TPA so villagers can receive it at no cost in cases of indicated stroke types, which are the #1 cause of disability and #2 cause of death in India. He has successfully implemented a German research model in the world renowned Texas Medical Center allowing Neurologists to travel on 911 Ambulance dispatches to likely stroke calls, with portable CT scanners, cutting TPA administration time by hours, avoiding ER waits, and saving lives and avoiding disabilities. He has successfully spearheaded an innovative Telemedicine stroke service with Specialists on Call, which allows Neurologists in Houston to take ER calls from rural areas throughout America and guide assessment, diagnoses, and treatment of stroke patients via webcam. He has successfully connected with the top medical colleges in India and a network of 200 hospitals in India to advance medical missions. He has successfully secured a Harvard collaborator to build 25 stroke research centers in India.
Dr. Thomas’ clinical interests include the clinical evaluation of both critically and acutely hospitalized patients with cerebrovascular disease, and outpatients with cerebrovascular disease, including the clinical sequelae of ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke. His primary research interests include: pathophysiological mechanisms of stroke, epidemiological analysis of risk factors of stroke, preventive measures of stroke, and the acute treatment of stroke. Dr. Thomas graduated from the University of Texas with Honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry and Philosophy. He attended and received his M. D. from Baylor College of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine and his residency in Neurology at Emory University. He then served as a Neurohospitalist and as the Stroke Director at Florida Hospital (East Orlando) for more than three years. Dr. Thomas then continued his education and graduated from University of California San Francisco (UCSF) as a Neurovascular Clinical Fellow.
